New This Year: Cocktails and the Silent Auction of birdhouses and garden-related items will take place in the new center. A seated dinner and Live Auction will follow in the adjacent party tent. Those guests wishing to continue the party atmosphere after dinner can return to the nature center for dessert and live music. The Committee Chairs of GTBD XI have voted to direct the monies raised by this year's event to fund the renovation of Biobrook Cabin. Biobrook is currently used nine months of the year to house all categories of visitors to Powdemrill: researchers, educators, interns, and attendees at the many scientific and education symposia. As Powdemrill increases its education and research activities, housing facilities such as Biobrook must be renovated and expanded.
With your support, our Garden Themes & Birdhouse Dreams XI benefit will produce another record-breaking year. We look forward to seeing you at Powdermill! |

Garden Themes
& Birdhouse Dreams XI will be the informal
and fun-filled evening for the entire family that we all have known
and loved over the
years...and then some! We invite your support and urge you to return
your response card with your check as soon as possible. The April invitation
will include confirmation of your reservation. You will receive a newly
designed Live Auction brochure with photographs and description of each
of the 10 items and information on how to place an absentee bid 3
weeks before the party.
