to Ligonier's Popular Community Event:
Friday May 16th through Thursday May 22nd

  • Follow the bird tracks painted on Ligonier's sidewalks and discover a world of handmade bird and garden creations. Each piece is created by individuals from far and wide!
  • Wild bird calls will be broadcast throughout the downtown area from the town's gazebo in the middle of the "Diamond".
  • Enjoy a fascinating presentation by Pittsburgh's National Aviary on Sunday May 18 at 2:00 P.M.
  • See the attached list of restaurants and make a luncheon reservation at the restaurant of your choice for your group
  • A welcome talk is available for your group if you are interested.
  • Take a side trip out to Powdermill Nature Reserve, a 15-minute drive from the village of Ligonier.

The Birdwalk! event is dedicated to all the creative and talented individuals who have been building bird- and garden-related pieces for the Garden Themes and Birdhouse Dreams benefit for Powdermill Nature Reserve for 11 years.

Birdwalk! is a cooperative event with the Ligonier Chamber of Commerce, the participating merchants, and Powdermill Nature Reserve, the biological research station of Carnegie Museum of Natural History.
