The competition is open to everyone - all ages, individuals, or teams.

All entries must be handcrafted by the donor specifically for this event. Submissions may include jewelry, pottery, needlework, woodwork, photography, paintings, or metalwork that express a garden- or bird-related theme. The finished piece may be functional or decorative and appropriate for indoor or outdoor use. The committee reserves the right to determine the final inclusion.

Adults: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place cash prizes offered in two categories:
1) birdhouse creations
2) general bird- and garden-related items

Youth (14 and under): 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place cash prizes in a single category for either garden- or bird-related items.

Founders Award: A cash prize for either a garden- or bird-related item.

Deadline for entries: May 5, 2008
Artists' Reception & Award Ceremony: May 18, 2008

For your entry to be considered for judging and be displayed during the Birdwalk! Exhibition in Ligonier (May 16-22), it must be delivered to G Squared Gallery, 207 E. Main Street, Ligonier, PA 15658 no later than May 5, 2008. All entries become the property of Powdermill Nature Reserve.
